Refund policy
Return & Replacement Policy
At MIG Gaming, we want you to game with confidence. This policy explains when and how products can be replaced or repaired. It should be read together with our Refund & Cancellation Policy and Shipping Policy. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable Indian law.
1. No change-of-mind returns.
We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect selection, buyer's remorse, or "no longer needed." Please review product specifications, compatibility, and quantity carefully before ordering, and contact us at support@miggaming.com if you need help choosing the right product or configuration.
2. Dead-on-arrival (DOA) & defective items.
If a product arrives damaged, dead-on-arrival, or defective, please report it to us within 48 hours of delivery at support@miggaming.com with:
- Your order number;
- A description of the issue; and
- Clear photos and/or a short video showing the fault and the packaging.
For eligible DOA/defective items, we will arrange a free repair or replacement, and MIG Gaming will bear the shipping cost both ways — for returning the faulty item to us and for dispatching the repaired or replacement item back to you. We will share return shipping instructions when we approve your claim; please do not ship an item back without contacting us first. Customers in Chennai are welcome to drop the item at our store instead. Please keep all original packaging and accessories until the issue is resolved.
This applies to DOA/defective items reported within 48 hours of delivery only. Shipping costs for warranty claims, manufacturer RMAs, repairs, upgrades, and any other service are borne by the customer — see our Warranty Policy and Repair & Service Terms.
3. Custom / made-to-order PC builds.
Custom and made-to-order builds are assembled specifically for you. Once assembly has begun, a custom build is non-cancellable and non-returnable, except where the finished build is defective or faulty, in which case we will repair or replace the affected component(s) under this policy and the applicable warranty.
4. Assessment and eligibility.
All replacement/repair requests are subject to inspection and verification. We may decline a claim where the fault results from misuse, accidental or liquid damage, unauthorised repair or modification, tampering with warranty seals, operating outside manufacturer specifications (including improper overclocking), or normal wear and tear.
5. Non-returnable items.
Except where defective, the following are not eligible for return or replacement: opened software and digital licences/keys, gift cards, clearance or "as-is" items, custom/made-to-order builds, consumables (e.g. thermal paste), and used or worn merchandise/apparel.
6. Merchandise & apparel.
Please check sizing before ordering. Apparel and merchandise can be replaced only if received defective or incorrect, reported within 48 hours; worn, washed, or used items are not eligible.
7. Local pickup inspection.
If you collect your order from our Chennai store, please inspect the product at the counter. Carry a valid photo ID and your order confirmation for collection.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains when orders can be cancelled and how refunds are handled. Read it together with our Return & Replacement Policy and Shipping Policy.
1. Order cancellations.
As we dispatch orders quickly, orders enter processing soon after they are placed. To request a cancellation, contact support@miggaming.com with your order number as soon as possible. We will try to accommodate the request provided the order has not yet been processed or dispatched. Once an order has been handed to our courier partner, it can no longer be cancelled.
2. Custom builds.
Custom and made-to-order builds cannot be cancelled once assembly or component procurement has begun, except where the finished build is defective.
3. Order corrections.
If you spot an error (such as a wrong shipping address), contact us immediately. We will try to correct it if the order has not yet been processed, but cannot guarantee changes once processing has started.
4. Refunds.
Except as required by applicable law, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds for change of mind or general dissatisfaction. Refunds, where applicable, are limited to:
- We are unable to fulfil your order (for example, an item is out of stock or discontinued after purchase);
- A duplicate or incorrect charge has been made; or
- A DOA/defective item cannot be repaired or replaced, and we agree a refund with you in writing.
5. How refunds are processed.
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method used at checkout. Refunds are typically initiated within 7–10 business days of approval; the time for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider. Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except where the item was DOA/defective or we made an error. Shipping costs for warranty claims, repairs, and other services are not refundable.
6. Statutory rights.
Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, or other applicable Indian consumer law.
